Second LP by SCARS ARE SOULLESS – «Resurrection»
The American one-man project SCARS ARE SOULLESS has finished work on the second LP called «Resurrection». Chip, the founder and sole participant of the project, specializes in recording Dark Electro / Electro Industrial sound, adding flavor by ingratiating with Old School notes.
The album will be released on February 25 in digital format on all popular platforms, and the release will also be available in a limited CD edition of 100 manually numbered copies.
The album revolves around the hardships and dark side of life- but having the strength to carry on and persevere.
Only the strong survive. The will to pull above the depths of hell and know that tomorrow is another day, yet still cautious that tomorrow can also bring back the darkness- as reflected in track ‘Dark of Tomorrow’. Song’s ‘Resurrection’ and ‘Alter the Unreachable’ reflect climbing out of hardships when the walls are closing in.
While ‘My Inner Fire’ describes one’s solitude and rising above, and never relying on anyone.
‘An Ocean to Bleed In’ reflects on individuals who feel and carry pain every day, but the message is not to fail because of your past. “Don’t drown, in your memories…” as the lyrics reflect.
