Between the Metal and Industrial world, MIDIAN DITE is a Mexican band, originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, that has managed to balance both styles, exploring a vast anatomy of seduction, spirituality and brutality, in a raw and perverse soundscape. Their lyrics express empty futures and an archaic society that echoes today’s world. With this in mind, the vocal performance has a chance to stand out from the ferocity of the instrumentation. The synth builds an ambient of gloom that is complemented by guitar work that brings a touch of metal for a solid balance.
Originally maintaining an Aggressive Electro-industrial sound, their first album «The Path of Truth» (2015), took his sound to countries such as Ireland, Russia, Austria, Canada, the United States and Greece, where several trailers and collaborations with other artists originated thanks to the tracks ‘Together We Are One‘, ‘God Of Lust‘ and ‘Acid Shine‘.
Their second album, «Ashes And Glory» (2020), was released by MIC Label, from Russia. The album contains nine tracks with a sound that is a crossroads of Industrial, Aggrotech, Dark Synth, Metal and Experimental Electronic genres. It arises as a tribute to artists such as Michael Angelo Buonarroti, Jan Saudek or John Santerineross, and to bands such as Ministry, Behemoth and Skinny Puppy, among others.
The video for the first track ‘Stellar Caravan‘, was nominated for Best Music Video of the Year on the Osmium Metal Awards. The tracks ‘Hermosa Sumisa‘ and ‘No Mercy‘ appear on Russia’s «Industrial Discipline» sampler and three more, «Industrial Assault Vol. 7», «Futronic Structures Vol. 10» and «Animal Sanctuary», published in the USA. The band has made numerous presentations in different cities of the Mexican Republic such as CDMX, Monterrey, Cabo San Lucas, Celaya, Aguascalientes, Querétaro, Veracruz, Uruapan, La Piedad, Guadalajara, etc. Sharing the stage with HOCICO, CENTHRON, AMDUSCIA, GOD MODULE, among other artists.
